Experimental investigation of a turbulent natural convection flow in a cubic cavity with an inner obstacle partially heated

چکیده
This work presents the dynamical and thermal behaviors of a turbulent natural convection flow occurring in cubic cavity with an inner partially heated obstacle. The top, bottom, front back walls are adiabatic other side at imposed uniform temperature. Velocity temperature measurements carried out using Particle Image Velocimetry micro-thermocouples. Boundary layer flows observed both vertical channels. A recirculating zone, upper part channel, breaks linearity stratification found lower channel it also disturbs heat transfers. boundary instability Tollmien-Schlichting type subsequent formation oscillating buoyant jet analyzed. presence internal gravity waves thermally stratified highlighted.
